Why Cold Works on Fat
Fat cells are more sensitive to cold than skin, nerve or muscle. Held at a controlled low temperature, they undergo apoptosis — programmed cell death — and the body clears them gradually through its normal lymphatic and metabolic pathways.
What the Trials Measured
Published studies report roughly a 20–25% reduction in the thickness of the treated fat layer after one session, measured by caliper and ultrasound at 8–12 weeks. That is a real change in one pocket — not a change in body weight.
Who It Disappoints
Anyone whose fat is visceral rather than pinchable, anyone expecting a single session to do everything, and anyone hoping it tightens loose skin. A rare side effect, paradoxical adipose hyperplasia, exists — we explain it before you decide.

How a Session Works
You may know fat freezing by the brand name CoolSculpting®. That is one manufacturer's machine, and it is not the one we use. Ours is a certified cryolipolysis system, officially imported and permitted in Indonesia. Its vacuum applicators cool the drawn-in tissue from all sides — 360° — rather than from two plates, and come in several sizes, including a small one for the chin.
